So many people I talk to complain about the faults of Microsoft Outlook & Outlook Express, all opting for the next bright shinny object in sending and receiving emails.

I for one have never had any problems with my Outlook, or I was not aware of any. Then I met Banaby De Palma who introduced me to the wonders of Web 2.0 and Google with all its incredible applications.

Now apart from the superior search engine facilities, what comes with Google? Gmail, of course. I started using Gmail and all the tools that go with it and all of a sudden Outlook gets left behind! No longer do I have to battle through he help menus trying to back everything up or attempting to work out the email folder rules. Now all of a sudden life became easy, with Google and Gmail.

Part of your Business Systems should be the control of your emails and in particular the time spent reading and replying to them. With Gmail you can have many different addresses (including your Outlook ones) all fed into one account and labeled for later location. Even while you are offline.

How would we live without emails in todays world? The problem is we can only access our emails when we are connected to the web, and even then when we are away from our main connection, it can sometimes be unreliable or insecure. Now with Google gears your emails are accessible offline – Yes, you read that correctly offline!

To find out more check here to read an article from PC World and Edward N. Albro
